Sri Lanka lead with a historic win

Sri Lanka won their first ever test in South African pitch when they stopped the Proteus in 241 and got the 208 runs victory in just fourth day of the test. Altough SA started well with their batting, they crumbled and lost their four wickets in just less than one hour after lunch.The final three wickets went down in four deliveries and a fantastic year for Test cricket ended with the biggest upset of 2011.
Rangana Herath was the hero in the 4th day who took 5 wickets of 79 runs and ended Sri Lanka's run of 15 Tests without a victory.

HENRY gonna be back:says Wenger

Arsenal manager Aresene Wenger confirms the comeback of his former player Thierry Henry to boost up his team.Wenger said: "To cover for two months is ideal. He has the experience and the quality. He knows the club and can help the players on and off the pitch.
Henry is highest goal scorer for Arsenal with 226 goals in 370 appearances.However the formal annoncement has not been done as the paper work is yet to complete.The French forward is expected to sign a two month loan with Arsenal.
If agreement is reached with the Red Bulls, he could feature in Arsenal's FA Cup third-round tie against Leeds on 9 January.

Hussey giving hope

Hussey's outstanding performance once again saves the Green Caps from falling behind in the Ind-Aus test series in Melbourne today.His smooth 79 runs from 134 balls including 7 fours continued adding the entertain to the match in the late sessions.
15 wickets fall off 274 runs on the day 3 made the test quite interesting to watch in Melbourne.Although losing initial wickets very early send the Aussies to backfoot for sometime,the experienced batting by Ponting and Hussey was the turning point and has left the game evenly poised.
However, the brilliant bowling by young Umesh Yadav cannot be forgotten. He silenced the overjoyed Aussies by picking up four important wickets including the first three of the openers:Warner,Cowan with 1st down Marsh and 6th down Siddle not letting any one of them to get a double digit score.
