Finally, the game is over and Australia clean swips the test series at the 5th day in Adelaide test.Indians, once again proved that they are going backward as a test team by the continous losses of the test matches.Australia's 298-run victory was finalised when Nathan Lyon found the edge of Umesh Yadav's bat and Brad Haddin gloved the ball cleanly, which led to celebrations from the Australians.Indians chased a quite difficult target of 500 but had abad start on the 4th day.Man of the match Peter Siddle who took 5 wickets in the first inning was accompanied by NM Lyon who took 4 important wickets and put India to backfoot.Finally Indians collapsed at 201 giving 298 runs victory to Ausssies.

The fourth day ended with the Indians scoring 164-5, with Virat(20) and Ishant(2) on the crease. Lyon took 3 important wickets of Sehwag(62), Tendulkar(13) and Laxman(35) while Harris took the other two wickets of Gambhir(3) and Dravid(25). The Austrialians are moving towards victory with the lead of 336 runs while all the hopes of Indians are in Kohli to win and to mark their first win in the series.
Australia has already won the series and is moving to white-wash the series by 4-0.

The great rivalry match between the Spanish League leaders finished at Camp Nou with a draw, but leading Barca to the semi-finals with a 4-3 aggregate win.Barca striked the goals at first half with Pedro opening at 43' and Daniel Alves at last minute of extra time.However, Real Madrid came back stunningly in the second half and equalised with Ronaldo striking at 68' and Benzema at 72', but, could not avoid the aggregate loss.

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been banned for the last test with Australia for slow overrate during the match in Perth.Umpires Aleem Dar and Kumar Dharmasena reported Dhoni after India were ruled to be two overs short of their target.

Man city 3-0 Liverpool. Real Madrid stuns Malaga

Man city made a simple win over Liverpool to make a clear 3 point lead against their runner Man Utd in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.City took the lead at 10 minutes when Sergio Aguero striked against Liverpool keeper Reina.The host doubled their lead before half time with the header from Yaya Toure in 33rd minute and tripled it in75th minute by the penalty from James Milner.
In the other games Fulham beat Arsenal 1-2 by the goals from Sidewell  and Zamora.Sunderland beat Wigan 4-1 and Tottenham beat West Bromwich 1-0.

Real Madrid made a stunning comeback in the second half to get a 3-2 win against Malaga in Copa del Rey at the homeground.Malaga stunned the Spanish giant after striking two goals before the second half  but Madrid attacked with three goals in 10 minutes to silence the visitors.The two goals in two minutes from Sami Khedira and Gonzalo Higuain saw the home team draw level before Karim Benzema grabbed the winner with 12 minutes left to play.
The two sides meet again on January 10 at La Rosaleda, with a quarter-final place in the tournament at stake.

Clarke smashes India

Captain Michael Clarke hit an unbeaten 251 runs blow to India on second day of the second test in Sydney when host took complete control of the match.The skipper reached the highest Sydney Cricket Ground score by an Australian and took the Aussies to 482 with the lead of 291.
Beginning the day at 116-3, the host lost only wicket of Ponting at 134 when Ishant Sharma made him caught by tendulkar.Ponting also had a good come back as he obtained a three figure after the long 34 innings but it was the captain who was shining in Sydney Ground the whole day.After dropping the Indians at 191 with the excellent bowling by Pattinson and Hilfenhaus, the Aussies  are at good positions and Indians have to struggle a lot in the coming 3 days to avoid Australia taking 2-0 lead in the four match series.
