ManU shortened the distance with the leaders ManC to 3 points by defeating Arsenal 2-1.Goals from Valencia at extra time of first half and Danny Welbeck at 81' left Arsenal at 5th position equalising with Newcastle United with 36 points each. Although Robin van Persie gave hope at 71' but it could not save Arsenal.
